THE JOB (REF: CCDM/16/05/07)

The Graduate Management Development Scheme (GMDS) is a talent sourcing
scheme aimed at identifying young, bright, talented Nigerian graduates
who have recently concluded their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
assignments. After a highly competitive selection process, successful
candidates will undergo a systematic and broad-based training
programme involving formal learning and experiential attachments for
about 12 to 18 months. At the end of the training, successful
candidates will be considered for management positions in the company.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidates must not be older than twenty-seven (27) years
as at 1st January, 2007 and should possess the following: - X Five (5)
credit grades in SSCE or GCE ¡¥O¡¦ Level including Mathematics and
English Language, obtained at one sitting. X Not more than 2 years
post NYSC Experience as at 31st January, 2007. X Minimum of Second
Class Honours (Upper Division) University degree in any of the
following fields: Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering,
Microbiology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Microbiology,
Mathematics, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Mathematics, Chemistry,
Production Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied
Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Marketing, Food, Science &
Technology, Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration
(Management), Sociology, Public Administration, Psychology,
Statistics, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Political Science, Industrial Relations & Pers. Mgt.,
Geography. „X Evidence of discharge from the NYSC scheme (i.e. NYSC
discharge certificate). X Ability to work with basic computer
applications (e.g. Word Processing, Spreadsheet, e-mail, etc.). X
Willingness to work in any part of Nigeria. X Personal initiative and
drive. Only applicants who meet all the requirements stated above will
be shortlisted. As such, there is no need to apply if one does not
meet all of them.
